Job DescriptionIn-home Sales ManagerHave you successfully managed salespeople?Have you taught a team how to close in the home?Have you conducted sales trainings and meetings?Do you have a high energy level?Is customer satisfaction important to you?Are you able to create a culture of accountability?If so, we need to talk to you.Summary:Fenster Enterprises, Inc. is the local Pella Windows & Doors distributor in Buffalo and Rochester, NY.The In-home Retail Sales Manager will lead and motivate a team of in-home sales consultants to meet and exceed their goals through long term training and mentoring through individual ride-alongs, daily group calls and formal training sessions.Important areas of focus to the company and this position are customer satisfaction, exceeding sales goals and team building. This position also participates in the strategic planning and subsequent execution of company-wide short and long-range plans. The position is a key member of the management team.Responsibilities:Lead and bring vision to the In-home Sales area of the company. Create a culture of accountability through the use of specific metric management and rewarding desired behaviors. Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies.Develop an expert understanding of products, systems and processes and foster the same in your team.Focus on achieving repeatable success and improving specific metrics such as close ratio, average job size and overall yield.Identify, interview and hire exceptional new talent; conduct performance appraisals, reward and discipline employees.Address customer complaints and resolve problems within outlined guidelines.Create, manage and execute plans to meet and exceed sales goals while achieving maximum customer satisfaction. Collaborate with other key managers to positively grow the organization through teamwork and a desire to serve the customer.Embrace new opportunities for growth through product offering expansion.Some travel is required.Requirements:Organization, management, customer service and sales skills are a must along with demonstrated ability to coach/mentor. Must have managed employees in prior positions.Experience in in home sales and in-home sales management are required.Must be an independent thinker and have excellent written and verbal skills.Bachelors degree or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Must be proficient with Excel, PowerPoint and CRM systems.We offer an opportunity to be a key contributor to the growth and success of the organization along with a competitive salary and benefit package.
