Job Summary
This position performs all aspects of property maintenance and fire/safety concerns. It is a full time position at our residential facility in downtown Buffalo. It offers a flexible schedule, with personal office space and autonomy. This position includes weekly supervision and an open door policy with a supervisor who ensures personal potential is being met. In addition, the position provides access to a cell phone, 8 paid holidays and much more!
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ General repairs including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, floor covering, painting and seasonal needs.
+ Responsible for overseeing cleaning staff
+ Troubleshooting all building systems to proactively maintain building operations
+ Coordination with vendor and subcontractors
+ Monthly building audits, inspections, regulatory and code requirement.
+ Completes all appropriate paperwork
+ Takes direction from the Senior Facilities Manager on issues concerning property management and maintenance;manages productivity and daily job responsibilities
+ Performs cleaning, repairing, maintaining, constructing, renovating, demolishing and moving building systems as needed. Ensures that building meets all appropriate compliance.
+ Performs universal precautions and uses personal protective equipment, follows all OSHA, DOH and building regulations
+ Preforms regulatory building audits, inspections, maintains reports and tracking systems to provide a safe and health environment for all clients and staff
+ Manages a preventative maintenance program for building systems
+ Provide oversight of all exterior property conditions
+ Additional duties may be required, but are not limited to the following: renovation projects including alterations of walls, carpentry, drywall, electrical, doors, ceilings, plumbing, floor covering and paint

Basic Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
+ Communicate effectively and prioritize tasks
+ Navigate and utilize computer-based work order system
+ Ability to lift 50+ pounds
This position is located at our Terrace House location in Buffalo, NY.
Position Hours
Full time, Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
