The Career Counselor position will provide high:quality coaching and counseling to individual students within the Career Services framework as well as coach and guide students in groups (classes and workshops), both in person and potentially online. Minimum Qualifications BachelorA?s degree. Minimum of 1 year of experience with a specialized knowledge of career services and/or counseling. Demonstrated ability to effectively work with students and recent alumni. Demonstrated ability to develop and strengthen collaborative relationships with key constituencies such as faculty.Demonstrated strengths in interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated strength in analyzing information and data to modify practice as well as strategy. Demonstrated ability to work in a team setting is required. Preferred Qualifications A MasterA?s degree in higher education, social work or related field. Preference will be given to candidates related professional years of experience and specialized knowledge of career services and/or counseling.
