Niagara University, an independent (private) Catholic University, invites applications for the Vice President for Enrollment Management. The Vice President for Enrollment Management will report to the Executive Vice President and be responsible for all aspects of enrollment management, including the strategic marketing plan, admissions goals and process, and financial aid for all enrollment segments. The Vice President provides strategic and operational leadership to a sector focused on the recruitment and enrollment of students for undergraduate and graduate programs, domestically and internationally, while cultivating interdependencies across campus for a sustainable business model and engagement across areas of professional study. The Vice President will be expected to: Oversee the development of a comprehensive integrated strategic enrollment, financial aid, and marketing plan that enhances the university's reputation and effectively promotes its admissions and program promotion goals. Lead enrollment and financial aid modeling in keeping with the directions of the strategic plan. Coordinate with multiple offices in support of institutional enrollment goals across all enrollment segments - undergraduate, graduate and international. Build on and improve successful recruitment strategies for first-year, online, transfer, international and graduate students. Build on and improve marketing and recruitment of students in Ontario for programs offered in the Greater Toronto Area and at the university's primary campus in Lewiston, New York. Coordinate recruitment and admissions initiatives to ensure student access and success. Monitor and ensure that institutional financial aid resources meet the needs of both new and continuing students as much as possible while supporting institutional enrollment goals. Ensure that all admissions recruitment procedures and financial aid are conducted in accordance with state and federal regulations and procedures. Prepare the sector budget annually and monitor departmental budgets throughout the year. Use statistical analysis and analytical models to drive the enrollment and financial strategy, decision-making and planning. The functions of the position require confidentiality of information, including (but not limited to) student and employee personal information, student grades, etc., both during and after their employment with Niagara University. Questions regarding the confidentiality of any materials, should be referred to the employee's supervisor. Violations may subject the employee to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. The successful candidate should hold a master's degree or higher in higher education administration, research, or a related field. Ten years of progressively responsible and demonstrated success in higher education enrollment management with at least five years as a supervisor of professional staff is required. The ideal candidate should have expertise in quantitative skills to drive enrollment and financial analysis. S/he must have leadership abilities to guide, lead, support and direct a diverse staff and work with a diverse student body. S/he must have the ability to work collaboratively across university divisions to advance a unified recruitment strategy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the expertise to make public presentations and speak on behalf of the university, is required. A valid New York State driver's license is required that satisfies both university and insurance company underwriting rules and regulations for driving a motor vehicle. The candidate must also be able to operate a motor vehicle in Canada.
