The midway consists of over 30 quick service buildings and kiosks. Attendants complete various tasks such as taking guest orders, cooking, food preparation, operating a point-of-sale system, cash handling, fulfilling orders, stocking items, manual dishwashing, keeping inventory, and maintaining the cleanliness of eating areas for our guests throughout the day! Team members are friendly, guest focused team players who provide fast, and friendly first class service to our guests. For experienced food service applicants we have several Unit Lead and Supervisory positions available and offer the tools to team members seeking to advance to these positions! Restaurant and Catering Team Members As a Darien Lake Restaurant & Catering Team Member you will be joining the Darien Lake Theme Park Food Service Team. We have Two Full Service Restaurants: Beaver Brothers Cafe and Maria's Italian Kitchen, and a Catering Picnic Grove. As part of our Team you will become Guest service professionals that greet our Guests with a smile, prepare and cook a quality food product, maintain a clean working environment, stock inventory and exceed our guest expectations by delivering an enjoyable, first class experience. Our Team is part of a high volume, fast paced environment, where guest service and quality is paramount. All Restaurant & Catering Team Members will also assist in the Midway Food Service Operations and/or in executing special events hosted here at Darien Lake. Qualifications Midway Food Attendant Qualifications + At least 14 years of age + Friendly + Guest Focused + Team Player + Trustworthy + Good Communication Skills + Ability to multi-task - cash handling, cooking, food preparation, cleaning. + Flexible availability - Available Monday through Sunday, nights, weekends, and holidays. + Attendant/Cashier - Applicants must be at least 14 years of age and involves handling cash + Cook - Applicants must be 16 years of age or older and prepare food using Grills & Fryers + Beer Server - Applicants must be 18 years of age or older Restaurant & Catering Basic Qualifications for each position: + Flexible availability - Available Monday through Sunday, nights, weekends, and holidays. + Guest focused + Friendly + Team Player + Trustworthy + Great communication skills + Well Organized + Experience in Banquets or High Volume is a plus Restaurant Positions: + Restaurant Servers - Must be at least 18 years of age and prior serving experience preferred / banquet experience a plus - This Position has an early morning shift that starts at 6:30am + Restaurant Bartenders - Must be at least 18 years of age and prior Bar Service (Serving & Bar knowledge) experience preferred / banquet experience a plus - Position only at Beaver Brother's + Restaurant Line Cooks - Must be at least 18 years of age. Prior Line cooking experience preferred / High Volume Line Cooking a plus + Restaurant Prep Cooks - Must be at least 16 years of age. Prior cooking experience preferred + Restaurant Breakfast Cook - Must be at least 18 years of age and prior Breakfast experience preferred / banquet experience a plus - Position only at Beaver Brother's - This position has an early morning shift that starts at 5:30am + Restaurant Line Expeditor - Must be at 18 years of age. Prior experience preferred / must be an organized person + Restaurant Greeters / Cashiers - Must be at least 14 years of age + Restaurant Bussers / Dishwashers - Must be at least 16 years of age + Catering Line Servers - Must be at least 14 years of age / banquet experience a plus + Catering Grill Cooks - Must be at least 16 years of age/ high volume line cooking a plus + Catering Prep Cooks - Must be at least 16 years of age /high volume line cooking a plus + Catering Runners - Must be at least 16 years of age + Catering Station Attendants - Must be at least 14 years of age + Catering Beer & Wine Servers - Must be at least 18 years of age and prior Bar Service
