Start date : 3/19/2018 8 Week Training: 11:00 am- 7:30pm Monday-Friday Shift after Training: Evening Shifts (Weekend Availability Required) Rate of Pay: $14.25/HR Benefits: Vacation pay, Health/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance, heavily discounted Spectrum services (internet/voice/video) We are currently seeking Internet /Phone Customer Support Representatives for our Customer Service Department located at our Waterfront Call Center, 40 La Riviere Dr., Buffalo, NY 14202. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position. Position Summary: Provide technical customer service to Charter Spectrum customers with technical problems or questions about their internet, phone, My Account, or Spectrum Apps. Essential Job Functions: Provide high level of customer service over the phone in an efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable manner Via Phone help customers set up wireless devices in their home Answer customer questions on digital phone features and service. Troubleshoot internet connectivity with customer owned devices Willingness to learn and stay current with new internet connected devices including mobile phones, gaming systems, computers, and other in home technology. Perform all other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: (skill, knowledge & abilities to be successful in this role) Experience or knowledge with Windows-based computer software applications and operating systems including Windows 7 and 8, MAC OS X or later, Android Jelly Bean or higher, and iOS 7, Microsoft XBox 360, Xbox One, Sony PS3, PS4, Roku, Samsung TVs, other internet enabled devices. Knowledge of online services, browsers and mobile device apps Willingness and ability to be sedentary in office role and field customer telephone calls for 8 hours. Understanding of WiFi networks Understanding of what bandwidth is related to internet speeds Effectively communicate with customers and other departments over the phone The above list of duties and responsibilities is intended to describe the overall nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
