Senior Accounting Specialist Imagine Staffing is currently working with one of our premier marketing clients looking to add a Senior Accounting Specialist to their team due to growth. This all-encompassing Accounting Specialist role will be responsible for payables and receivables, report preparation and generation, as well as maintaining the general ledger. Description If you are a motivated individual with strong analytical skills looking to take your career to the next level, then this Senior Accounting Specialist role is the opportunity for you. This role will perform various duties related to recording payments to customers' accounts, preparing documentation packages for Accounts Payable entry, distributes department mail, answers phones and maintains files. Additional duties include: Enters finalized receipts and updates accounts receivable ledger by customer Researches and processes customer claims of invoice payment and answers accounts receivable inquiries and follows up Prepare complex client billing packets and generate extremely detailed and client specific invoices based on instruction from account executives. Process supplier invoices by matching to company generated purchase orders and receiving documents, verifying prices, quantities received, and purchase terms Respond to supplier inquiries, assist in monthly closings Assist with projects and research questions relating to accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices and transactions. Assist with account reconciliations as needed. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree preferred, Associates required Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas, VLookups and Pivot tables), Word, and PowerPoint Payables/Receivables experience Detail oriented, ability to show initiative and take responsibility Strong attention to detail
