Cascades Containerboard Packaging, a division of Cascades Canada ULC, owns six containerboard mills and nineteen corrugated products plants in the United States and Canada. Cascades Containerboard Packaging is the largest containerboard producer in Canada and is also a major Canadian manufacturer of corrugated products.
Your challenge 13;
Reporting to the Controller, you will have the following main functions:
:Participate in the analysis of financial and operational performance indicators used in decision making.
:Help the Controller guarantee the reliability and completeness of the financial statements.
:Identify opportunities to reduce unit costs. 13;

Additional responsibilities include but not limited to:
:Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
:Analyze information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information.
:Prepare general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts
:Prepare payments by accruing expenses; assigning account numbers; requesting disbursements.
:Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes.
:Answers accounting and financial questions by researching nd interpreting data. 13;

Serve as a financial specialist and help develop the units business plan 13;

Help the unit controller implement and monitor business processes (including the budget process, analyses, and communication of internal and external financial information) 13;
Implement financial, sales, administrative and accounting management best practices that apply to the unit 13;

Assist the controller in developing the team 13;
Take the initiative to develop his or her skills 13;
