A/R Reporting Financial Analyst is responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.Responsibilities* Prepare daily and monthly balancing of accounts receivable and credit card accounts.* Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts.* Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts and general ledger operations to ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.* Prepare journal entries and ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.* Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.* Prepare financial management reports related to Days Sales Outstanding, Collection Efficiency Reports, Executive Credit Committee metrics.* Create ad hoc reports and charts/graphs related to Accounts Receivable accounts and metrics.* Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.* Critical thinking and analytical skills to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.* Financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process.* Develop processes and controls that mitigate risk and deficiencies related to Sarbanes Oxley and the Division's internal control structure.Required Skills* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.* Minimum of 3 years experience in reporting, consolidation and financial analysis.* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office - emphasis on Excel & Access, must be able to design macros, complex formulas and work with pivot tables, create graphs/charts.* Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects* Excellent Communication skills.* Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills.* Ability to complete projects timely and accurately critical.* Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.* Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.Posted by StartWire.
